Available capabilities depend on the active plan. Prism verifies licence access before each export operation.
Accounts, seats and machines
- Free and Core use one named machine activation. Pro supports up to two and Ultra up to three for a direct named seat.
- Organization-owned plans can manage named seats separately from the user's personal access.
- Eligible Ultra agreements can use a shared concurrent pool with server-managed checkout, release and idle reclamation.
- Sign out attempts to release the current seat when networking is available, then removes local account credentials even if the service cannot be reached.
- Use the account portal's Devices & sessions area to review and release supported activations; use Help & support when a stale activation cannot be resolved there.
Offline behavior
Prism verifies short-lived signed online entitlement locally and can continue for a bounded grace period after a transient connection loss. Free has up to three days of authenticated grace; direct paid and perpetual named seats have up to 48 hours. Pilot and organization-owned access use a shorter policy. The licence expiry date takes precedence over the grace period.
Contracted Ultra deployments can use separately issued offline or air-gapped licenses and signed offline component media. Arrange that workflow with Neobuilt; ordinary online credentials or copied component folders are not an offline license.
Stable and LTS channels
- Stable is the default release channel.
- LTS pinning requires an eligible Ultra entitlement. Prism stores the channel with the account, and authenticated update checks use the LTS catalogue.
- A background check can announce an update, but only a user-started Download update action downloads and activates it.
- Updates are verified and activated as one coherent component set. A failed member leaves the prior set active.
- Connector changes can require a Navisworks restart; engine or format updates do not mix into an export already in progress.
Pilot, academic and perpetual access
- Pilot is a sales-arranged, time-bounded Ultra evaluation for up to ten seats; signing in does not create a Pilot automatically.
- Academic access is a verified time-bounded Pro grant.
- After the qualifying continuous paid term stated in the service terms, eligible lapsed access can retain the lowest continuously held tier as a version-pinned perpetual grant.
- Perpetual access is pinned to its qualifying product version and Stable catalogue; newer capabilities or managed service features are not implied.
